Technologically Challenged Lawyer Makes Third Attempt to Post Photos

Portland Zoo

As Karin already posted, the girls and Kendra's bf Steve came down to the 'couv to visit me last weekend. I think it was the coldest and craziest weather we've had all year so far with snow, sleet, rain, and hail falling at any given moment. Somehow we managed to still have a great time. Here are some of the pics from the zoo.

World's Longest Zebra, have you seen one of these yet Grandpa?

Old Home Week

This past week was great fun - Steve came for a visit, Kendra and Karin were home for Spring Break, George and Leanna returned from Africa, and Chelle's sister Chrissy, nephew Forest, and niece Hannah, came for the weekend. Lots of family, more food, not enough time. But what a great week!

Easter

So Spring Break has come and gone. Kendra and I begin class again tomorrow and it sucks. One week is not enough! Although we did have fun, it was great to hang out at home, and it was really awesome that Uncle Stephen was able to visit. Friday, Kendra, Steve (Kendra's boyfriend), and I went to visit Phil in Vancouver and stayed until today. It was freezing!!! but we had a lot of fun. We got to go to the Portland zoo (Phil has photos, my camera was full) and meet some of Phil's friends. It was really a great weekend.

Even though my camera was full for the zoo, I was able to get some pictures from Easter before it filled up.

We decorated eggs with paint and markers.
Mmmmm. Butter.....

Yeah, we locked Sophie's friend Rebecca outside on the balcony. And of course, we have to have the goofy photos:

Headline: David Bos Family Joins the Blog!

Well, here we are. . .Michele, thanks for getting us started. We'll try to be active participants.
The David Bos family is going full speed ahead this week. We are looking forward to:

- Mom and Dad Peterson's (Chelle's parents) return from their two-week adventure in Tanzania and Kenya. They will arrive here tonight.

- Uncle Steve's (Steve Bos) visit to the Yakima Valley today and tomorrow. I believe Dave and Steve are getting caught up over a Miner Burger as I write this.

- Sophie's first week of fastpitch softball practice. She is on a 10 year old league team, which promises to be lots of fun.

- Abby's second tennis match of the week. She is playing doubles, has developed a killer serve, and is ready to challenge the second-seed player on her team.

- Dave and Chelle's participation in a "Strengthening Marriage" class at church. The Bishop "called" us to attend, so attend we will. Hopefully we'll learn something that will make us a stronger family; if nothing else, it will be a night out (sort of :).

Looking forward, too, to reading everyone's posts.
:) Chelle

Introducing the Harry Bos Family Blog

Hi Family!!

Here it is. I will email all of you the necessary passwords so that we can all add posts, pictures, and videos to this blog. It is much easier than emailing large files to each other. Just post the photos/videos here and then send out an email telling everyone to come and look. I think this could be great fun. It's pretty self-explanatory. Don't be afraid to jump right in and add something.

I'm hoping to see great pictures of all of you soon. That includes you, Mom and Dad. After you sign in, click on add a new post and then click on the little picture icon or video icon at the top of the post and you can add any pictures or videos that you want to add.

Enjoy!!!

Michele
